Vehicle Description Up for sale is my recently purchase 1965 Ford Fairlane 500, 289 V8 automatic, P/S P/B A/C I bought this car in November of last year with plans to enjoy it cruising and car shows.
But things change and my health has declined, So I would like to find a new home for her.
This is an original California car, I moved to Texas shortly after purchase.
The original owners manual with the original purchasers info is still in the glove box.
I have own and operate an automotive repair shop in Sacramento for the past 27 years.
Cars I know about.
I inspected this car before I bought it and can say with confidence that it is in excellent condition.
I have many documents from prior owner of engine and transmission rebuilding.
Motor has mild cam, idles smooth.
When I first purchased this car I had plans to make a few improvements, I bought a new Holly 4 barrel carburetor and intake manifold.
I also bought new Ford dress up vale covers.
I noticed that the weather stripping above the side windows were hard, so I ordered new ones.
These items are minor and new owner could drive it in original configuration or up grade it.
