We celebrate diverse thinking and welcome contributions from all.n n What part would you play in this role?n As a Medical Case Specialist, you will support our Veterans Affairs Operations in San Antonio, TX by assisting veterans coordinate and schedule required medical examinations used in the evaluation process for VA disability benefits.n n In this rewarding role, you will:nnRequired to make specific amount of daily outbound calls to schedule appointments for examinees, including follow-up appointments and rescheduled appointments while maintaining customer satisfaction standards.nnnCommunicate directly with claimantsnTriage daily download of referrals and ensure appropriate worksheets are assigned to corresponding conditions as identified by Veteran s Administration nDetermine appropriate examinations, tests and specialists required for each case nMeet or exceed contract timeliness guidelines in both the scheduling and case management systems.nEnsure all examinees and providers receive necessary documentation nOther projects and duties as assigned.nn n You must have: nnHigh School diploma, or equivalent (GED) or 2 years of experience in lieun0 to 1 years of related experiencenn n Preferred:nnExcellent communication skills in English, both written and verbalnExperience coordinating appointments for patients.nProficiency in utilizing various computer applications (i.e. MS Office), EMRs and other scheduling software. nHighly skilled in multi-tasking while managing multiple prioritiesnn n Typical Day: nnTraining Schedule (1st 2weeks): Mon Fri: 8:00am 4:30pm CSTn3rd week and On schedule: Thurs Fri 8:00am 7:00pm CST (1 hr lunch) or 8:30am 7:00pm CST (30 min lunch); Sat Sun 8:00am 5:00pm CST (1hr lunch) or 8:30am 5:00pm CST (30 min lunch)nPositions are located ONSITE at our San Antonio - Chisholm Admin Bldg (located at 4400 N.W. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
