As a Process Engineer, you will support the organization's ability to maintain, repair and overhaul gas turbine engines used in flight applications.
This position focuses on shop support, customer technical support, engine repair instructions, development of minor repairs and continuous improvement programs.
Ensures compliance to relevant airworthiness and contractual requirements.
What you'll do:
Responsible for immediately reporting risk analysis of flight/product safety critical parts and processes.
Assists with the creation of matrix routings to manage the flow of materiel throughout the process.
Documents procedures and work instructions.
Analyzes, develops and recommends methods to meet production requirements, improve economy and quality, and reduce turn-around-times for products and/or processes with supporting cost analysis.
Investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies relating to equipment and processes to reduce variation and improve reliability.
Proposes, researches, and performs cost benefit analysis for new equipment purchases.
In conjunction with the Production engineering group, acts as a liaison to coordinate the activities of Engineering and Operations during the implementation of new repairs and processes.
Coordinates and interacts with the outside resources including contractors, equipment vendors, and supply vendors for process support, improvement, or repair development.
Provides support, technical expertise and experience to the Design Approval Organization (DAO) necessary to make airworthiness engineering decisions.
Responsible for observing all applicable safety requirements and reporting immediately any unsafe practices/conditions.
Provides process-related training with other support personnel.
Education requirements:
University degree in metallurgy, mechanical or chemical engineering; or equivalent.
What skills you will use:
Strong project management skills, planning, organizational, analytical, leadership, interpersonal, decision making, oral and written communication skills.
Ability to recognize and understand flight/product safety critical parts and processes.
FAA knowledge required.
Thorough knowledge of aerospace materials and processes.
In jurisdictions governed by a regulatory body or with an association that is governed by local legal requirements, registration is required.
Experience in an aerospace or manufacturing process engineering environment.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
