As a Data Architect you will be passionate about designing, building and supporting StandardAero's enterprise data management framework.
As part of the Enterprise Architecture & Software Development Team, you will be a crucial player and agent of change as you architect and guide the build and support of data solutions and services on the cloud.

The Data Architect will holistically take accountability for the data domain and produce a data strategy inclusive of data governance, data modelling, data mapping, data integration, data profiling, data validation, data reconciliation, data quality, data retention, data migration, data provisioning, data visualization, data security/privacy.
He will produce future state data architecture design (conceptual, logical and physical), provide alignment of data strategy with business strategy/digital strategy, and guide technology decisions for all stages of the data lifecycle, from data extraction to data presentation.
What you'll do:
Define the data architecture framework and standards.
Drive standardization in all matters related to data.
Apply a strategic mindset in directing the data technology stack, minimizing technical debt, optimizing performance and cost, and maximizing the opportunity for digital transformation.
You will assess data technology options and provide architectural direction and detailed implementation guidance.
You will oversee the migration of data from legacy systems to new data solutions.
Partner with business teams to rationalize the data value chain and provide strategic recommendations to maximize the value of data products via their creation, access, and use.
Determine future state data needs of the enterprise.
Participate in New Product Introductions and lead data initiatives.
Encourage and assist in the operational and strategical use of data for business process functions.
Build and lead the enterprise Master Data Management (MDM) plan and initiatives.
Hold accountability to enterprise data quality, including processes, standards and ongoing compliance checks.
Build data retention policy, ensuring compliancy of rules & regulations in place.
Hold accountability to design and build processes and policies for secure data access, data protection and data privacy, ensuring compliancy of rules & regulations in place.
Design and support the data governance approach, organization structure, and roles and responsibilities across the enterprise.
Work closely with Enterprise Architect, Software Architect, Infrastructure Architect, Cloud Architect and Security Architect in the delivery of StandardAero's enterprise architecture.
What skills you will require:
7-10
years' experience as a Data Architect with expertise in designing and developing complex, scalable client-facing data solutions using cloud-based technologies.
Deep practical knowledge and experience with data as a product, the platforms/tools/technologies that produce and underpin data products, data governance, and data analytics.
